Orlando Health Medical Group is seeking a Mid-West and West Region Medical Director to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for women's health services. This unique position integrates administrative direction at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital with clinical responsibilities as an OB hospitalist at Orlando Health Lakeland Highlands Hospital.
The Medical Director will ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care while advancing innovation and overseeing performance improvement initiatives. Success in this role requires close collaboration with leadership partners across Watson Clinic, Pediatrics, Neonatology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and other departments to align departmental objectives with broader organizational strategies.
In this hybrid role, you will spend 0.5 FTE delivering direct patient care as an OB hospitalist in labor and delivery, while dedicating the remaining 0.5 FTE to administrative functions at both Bayfront and Lakeland Highlands Hospitals. You will serve as the primary liaison between these facilities, Watson Clinic leadership, and the Orlando Health Women's Institute leadership team to maintain alignment of departmental and organizational strategies.
We are looking for a leader who can cultivate a collaborative culture among Women's health providers, interdisciplinary team members, and multidisciplinary partners. You will mentor and support the ongoing professional development of providers and staff, promote continuing education, and oversee onboarding processes for new team members.
