As a Medical Assistant with X-Ray License, you will be a champion of patient care within our Radiology and Medical Assistant team. In this position, you will provide expertise in a patient care setting, performing a variety of clinical duties to support our urgent care mission. Your day will involve taking vital signs, collecting lab specimens, performing EKGs, and administering IM injections. You will be responsible for performing all x-ray and imaging services according to provider orders, updating patient charts, and collecting patient history. Additionally, you may apply splints, dressings, and bandages, assist with check-in and check-out processes, and maintain detailed records of in-house lab work and drug screens. You will also keep patients and visitors informed of clinic progress, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience.
