About the Role
We are searching for an outstanding Medical Assistant Supervisor to join our team at OnPoint Family Medicine at Dakota Ridge. This position serves as the direct manager to the Medical Assistant staff while performing all duties of a Medical Assistant. The Supervisor acts as a vital liaison between management and staff, assisting with patient care and providing first-level counseling to the team.
In this role, you will foster a positive public relations image with the team, peers, patients, and visitors. You will be responsible for coaching staff on personal performance, creating action plans when necessary, and ensuring the team maintains a neat, clean, and functional work environment. The position typically works Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though varying hours during the week and Saturdays may be required to meet business needs.

Requirements
- verifiedGraduate of accredited Medical Assistant program
- verified3+ years of MA experience
- verifiedCurrent BLS card
- verifiedMaintain certifications per state guidelines
- verifiedStrong computer skills
- verifiedEMR experience preferred
- verifiedNationally recognized as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
- verifiedIV Certification preferred
- verifiedBilingual preferred
- verifiedAthenahealth practice management system preferred
Nice to Have
Nationally recognized as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). EMR experience. At least 1 year as a Medical Assistant Lead/Supervisor. 5+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant. IV Certification. Bilingual. Athenahealth practice management system.
