About the Role

We are seeking experienced Medical Assistants to join our team in the Nashville, TN area. In this role, you will provide essential clinical care within our urgent care, occupational health, and workers' compensation settings. You will be the first point of contact for many patients, responsible for initial evaluations, x-ray testing, and preparing patients for provider visits by accurately recording histories, vital signs, and documentation. A key part of your day involves recognizing acuity levels to ensure appropriate and timely intervention.

Your day-to-day will involve greeting patients promptly, communicating clearly about wait times and next steps, and offering solutions to patient concerns. You will play a vital role in the clinical workflow by preparing and shooting X-Rays with a focus on proper positioning and safety, performing phlebotomy and injections, and ensuring exam rooms are stocked and clean. You will also support front desk operations and manage timely follow-ups for lab and x-ray results, ensuring patients receive their care without delay.
