About the Role

We are seeking experienced Medical Assistants to join our team in Mt. Juliet, TN. In this role, you will provide essential clinical care within our urgent care, occupational health, and workers' compensation settings. You will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for initial evaluations, x-ray testing, and preparing patients for provider visits by accurately recording histories, vital signs, and documentation. Your ability to recognize acuity levels will be crucial in determining the appropriate level of intervention.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve greeting patients promptly and communicating clearly about wait times and next steps. You will support front desk operations during check-in and check-out procedures while ensuring exam rooms remain stocked and clean. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to clinical tasks, including performing phlebotomy, injections, and assisting with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision. You will also prepare and capture X-Rays, ensuring proper positioning and strict adherence to safety and radiation protection standards. Throughout your shift, you will maintain accurate documentation of patient histories, medications, and allergies, while ensuring timely follow-up on lab and x-ray results.

Schedule

Full-time team members work a rotating schedule of 36-40 hours per week, featuring 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekends. We also offer PRN (per diem) opportunities for those who prefer to work on an as-needed basis.
