About the Role
We are seeking experienced Medical Assistants to join our team in Mt. Juliet, TN. In this role, you will provide essential clinical care across urgent care, occupational health, and workers' compensation settings. You will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for initial evaluations, recording histories and vital signs, and preparing patients for provider evaluation by recognizing acuity levels for appropriate intervention.
Your day will involve a blend of clinical and operational support. You will greet patients promptly, communicate clearly about wait times, and assist with check-in procedures. A key part of your responsibilities includes performing X-rays with a focus on proper positioning and safety, as well as executing phlebotomy and other clinical procedures under provider supervision. You will ensure timely follow-up on lab and X-ray results and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms while adhering to strict infection control and patient confidentiality standards.
Schedule
Full-time team members work a rotating schedule of 36-40 hours per week, consisting of 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend. PRN (per diem) team members are scheduled on an as-needed basis.
