We are seeking experienced Medical Assistants to join our team in the Nashville, TN area. In this role, you will provide essential clinical care within our urgent care, occupational health, and workers' compensation settings. You will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for initial evaluations, recording histories and vital signs, and preparing patients for provider evaluation by recognizing acuity levels for appropriate intervention.
Your day will involve a blend of clinical and operational support. You will greet patients promptly, communicate clearly about wait times, and assist with check-in and check-out procedures. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to clinical tasks such as performing phlebotomy, administering injections, and preparing and shooting X-Rays with a focus on proper positioning and safety. You will also ensure timely follow-up on lab and X-ray results and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms while adhering to strict infection control and patient confidentiality standards.
