About the Role
We are seeking experienced Medical Assistants to join our team in the Nashville, TN area. In this role, you will provide essential clinical care within our urgent care, occupational health, and workers' compensation settings. You will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for initial evaluations, x-ray testing, and preparing patients for provider visits by accurately recording histories and vital signs. Your ability to recognize acuity levels will be crucial in ensuring appropriate and timely interventions.
Your day will involve greeting patients promptly, communicating clearly about wait times, and offering solutions to their concerns. You will play a key role in the patient journey by ensuring timely follow-ups on lab and x-ray results, assisting with patient transfers, and performing clinical procedures such as phlebotomy and injections under provider supervision. Additionally, you will maintain the safety and cleanliness of exam rooms and ensure all documentation meets strict infection control and confidentiality standards.
