Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePerform routine and complex clinical duties including taking vital signs and administering medications
- check_circleMaintain a clean environment in compliance with Universal Precaution guidelines and safety standards
- check_circleParticipate in research projects impacting patient care areas when required
- check_circleConduct simple diagnostic tests, collect specimens, and draw blood from patients
- check_circleSterilize and clean medical equipment while maintaining examination rooms in an outpatient setting
- check_circleAssist licensed providers and nurses during emergency situations as directed
- check_circleManage patient administrative duties including check-in/out, scheduling, and charge entry
- check_circleOrder, verify, and store unit supplies to ensure operational readiness
Requirements
- verifiedHigh School Diploma or GED
- verifiedBasic computer skills
- verifiedOne year work experience preferred
- verifiedCurrent AHA BLS certification required
- verifiedCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) from AAMA, Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from AMT, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) from NHA, or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) from NCCT required
