As a Medical Assistant, you will be an integral part of our intake team, ensuring patients are seen promptly and receive the care they need. You will administer and coordinate medical services necessary for all clients within the facility, assisting and being responsible for clients during appointments and the observation of medications. Your day-to-day responsibilities include observing urine samples for drug screens, obtaining vital signs, and maintaining updated medical records. You will also assist in educating pregnant patients about prenatal care and help coordinate outside services as needed.

Graduation from a post-secondary medical assisting education program accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Current certification from the Certifying Board of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), registration from the American Medical Technologists (AMT), the National Center for Competency Training (NCCT), or any recognized certifying body approved by the Board. CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) credentials. Two years' experience or knowledge in the field of behavioral health.
Skills: Medical Assistant, CPR, First Aid, BLS, Cna, Rma, Urine Drug Screens, Vital Signs.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Graduation from a post-secondary medical assisting program preferred.
