About the Role

The Medical Assistant serves as a vital bridge between patients and licensed healthcare providers, ensuring a seamless blend of administrative efficiency and compassionate clinical care. This role is instrumental in helping patients feel at ease during their office visits, acting as a dedicated patient liaison throughout their journey.

In this position, you will verify patient information by interviewing patients and recording detailed medical histories. You will prepare patients for examinations, assist in procedures as appropriate, and perform a variety of patient care tasks under the supervision of a licensed provider. The duties range widely from administrative responsibilities, such as managing the office telephone system and scheduling appointments, to clinical functions, including preparing exam rooms, collecting laboratory specimens, and assisting with surgical or cosmetic procedures.
