As a Medical Assistant at our Lakeview Multispecialty-Clinic, you will serve as a vital link between patients and our Physicians, Mid-Level Practitioners, and Registered Nurses. In this ambulatory care setting, your role is essential to ensuring smooth patient flow and delivering a seamless clinical experience. You will be responsible for maintaining the organization and readiness of exam and treatment rooms while performing key clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, conducting point-of-care testing, and administering immunizations and medications under physician direction.
Your day will involve coordinating patient intake, preparing patients for examinations, and supporting providers during procedures. You will also manage patient communication by calling regarding test results and medication refills, while ensuring all patient charts and ancillary reports are accurate and available. Beyond clinical duties, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and inventory of clinical spaces and participating in quality improvement initiatives. This position requires you to embody the Rush mission, vision, and values, adhering strictly to our Customer Service Standards and policies.
