The centers offer a wide range of healthcare services, including treatments for injuries and illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care. They operate seven days a week, with weekday hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and weekend hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Medical Assistants to join our team in Knoxville, TN. In this role, you will provide essential clinical care across urgent care, occupational health, and workers' compensation settings. You will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for greeting them promptly, communicating clear next steps, and managing wait times.

Your day will involve conducting initial evaluations, recording patient histories, and capturing vital signs to help providers recognize acuity levels for appropriate intervention. You will play a critical role in the diagnostic process by preparing and shooting X-Rays, ensuring proper positioning, safety, and radiation protection. Additionally, you will support the clinical workflow by assisting with patient transfers, performing phlebotomy and injections, and ensuring exam rooms are stocked and clean.

Communication is key in this position. You will offer solutions to patient concerns, execute timely follow-ups on lab and X-ray results, and collaborate with front desk staff to ensure smooth check-in and check-out procedures. Adhering to strict infection control, safety, and patient confidentiality standards is a daily priority.
