About the Role
As a Medical Administrative Assistant at our Sacramento Administrative Office, you will serve as a vital link between patients and our clinical teams. This position is designed for a motivated individual who thrives in a team environment and is committed to maintaining efficient workflows.
In this role, you will not have face-to-face contact with patients. Instead, your day-to-day interactions will focus on high-quality communication via telephone and our electronic medical records system (Epic). You will answer approximately 70 patient calls daily, coordinate care for four different clinic locations, and utilize waitlist and call-back lists to optimize provider schedules. Your efforts ensure that patients receive timely access to care and that all clinical information is accurately collected and shared with provider teams.
Work Schedule
This is a Health Administration position based in our Sacramento office. Office hours run from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Shifts vary Monday through Friday, with options including:
- 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
