The Leidos National Security Sector (NSS) combines technology-enabled services and mission software capabilities in cyber, logistics, security operations, and decision analytics. The National Security Sector seeks a highly qualified Senior-level Media Malware Analyst to provide vital on-site support to USCYBERCOM. This role is critical for identifying and analyzing sophisticated malware threats targeting the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN) and associated networks. You will operate in anticipation of a potential future contract award, working within a fast-paced environment where your greatest work is ahead.
In this position, you will partner with operational, technical, and intelligence elements across USCYBERCOM to enhance situational awareness and threat response capabilities. Your day will involve leading forensic analysis of compromised systems, conducting static and dynamic malware analysis, and reverse engineering malicious files. You will translate complex technical findings into actionable intelligence, delivering threat briefs and presentations to leadership. Beyond technical analysis, you will oversee the drafting of security incident response policies, correlate attack trends, and maintain a current understanding of advanced persistent threats (APTs) and state and non-state adversary tactics.

Masters' Degree or higher within Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related fields. Experience developing detection signatures and writing technical reports for leadership. Deep understanding of USCYBERCOM organizational structure and mission. Prior experience supporting Joint operations across multiple warfighting domains. Demonstrated experience incorporating Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning into operations. Experience with Space-enabled CO. Formal training within field of Cyber Warfare and Joint Operations. Familiar with the art of Data Science and its applicability to CO. Familiar with Microsoft Power BI data visualization software.
