Our client builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses. They are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Media Analyst to join their Communications Measurement team.
This position sits at the heart of the organization's global effort to quantify the impact of communications work across traditional media, social platforms, and owned channels. You will monitor news cycles to provide both qualitative analyses and quantitative data insights for the company's most pressing issues. Your work will establish strategic KPIs and identify learnings from evaluating media activity, feeding directly into important strategic decisions made by global Communications and Public Affairs leadership.
The ideal candidate will excel at collaborating with colleagues worldwide (with English as the working language) and consistently delivering high-quality work under severe time constraints. This role is particularly well-suited for individuals with a background in journalism, communications, academic research, think tanks, or media agencies. By analyzing media activity at a large scale, you will gain a thorough understanding of how to define the impact of both proactive and reactive media cycles globally, laying a strong foundation for a future career in communications within major organizations.

Experience in working with media monitoring tools. Experience in carrying out measurement projects using data platforms to monitor media coverage and analyze social media conversation. Understanding of metrics and analytics within the media environment. Experience with Brandwatch or Cision. Experience drafting messaging materials and writing news summaries.
