The Medical Technologist is a vital member of our laboratory team, responsible for collecting and analyzing specimens to support patient care across our community. This role serves as the bridge between diagnostic testing and clinical decision-making, ensuring that healthcare staff receive accurate, timely results.
In this position, you will perform a variety of routine and specialized diagnostic tests according to established protocols. Your day-to-day involves operating automated laboratory instrumentation, preparing specimens for microscopic examination, and maintaining rigorous quality control and assurance procedures. Beyond technical execution, you will play a key role in the department's growth by training new employees, participating in continuing education, and evaluating new procedures to improve efficiency and safety.
