As a Med Surg/Telemetry RN, you will deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients in acute care facilities throughout the United States. This travel role is designed for nurses who thrive in dynamic environments and are eager to adapt quickly to new hospital policies, electronic health record systems, and unit cultures.
In this position, you will be the backbone of patient care, responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans. Your day will involve continuously monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and hemodynamic status, while collaborating closely with physicians, therapists, and case managers to ensure coordinated care. You will manage pre- and post-operative patients, administer medications and IV therapies, and educate patients and families on diagnoses and discharge instructions.
