About the Role
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Med Surg/Telemetry RN to provide high-quality patient care in diverse healthcare settings nationwide. In this travel role, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, monitor telemetry, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and educate patients and families. You will adapt quickly to new environments and uphold best practices and safety standards.
You will deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients in acute care settings across various facilities in the United States. Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDeliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- check_circleMonitor, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and hemodynamic status
- check_circleAdminister medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments according to provider orders
- check_circlePerform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and develop individualized care plans
- check_circleManage pre- and post-operative patients including wound care and pain management
- check_circleEducate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge instructions
- check_circleMaintain strict infection prevention standards including central line and catheter care
- check_circleRespond to changes in patient status and participate in rapid response and code situations
- check_circleCollaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate patient care
- check_circleDocument care accurately and timely in the EHR ensuring regulatory compliance
- check_circleAdapt quickly to new hospital environments, policies, and electronic health record systems
Requirements
- verifiedActive, unrestricted RN license in applicable state(s) or compact RN license
- verifiedCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- verifiedCurrent Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- verifiedMinimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in Medical-Surgical and/or Telemetry
