About the Role
Encompass Health is seeking a Med Surg RN to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. In this role, you will assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing care for adult patients with complex medical and surgical needs, supporting safe recovery and functional independence.
You will manage medications, IVs, wounds, and telemetry while closely collaborating with an interdisciplinary rehab team. Your day will involve performing ongoing assessments, developing care plans, and educating patients and families on disease processes and discharge plans. You will also participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities to ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
