About the Role
We are seeking a Med Surg Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced medical-surgical unit. In this role, you will serve as a vital member of an interdisciplinary team, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a diverse adult patient population. Your day will involve coordinating comprehensive care plans, administering medications safely, and monitoring patient status through telemetry and electronic health records.
Beyond clinical duties, you will play a key role in supporting patients and families through education on diagnoses, medications, and discharge instructions to ensure safe transitions of care. You will also actively participate in bedside shift reports, care huddles, and quality improvement initiatives, all while adhering to strict infection prevention and patient safety standards.

Requirements
- verifiedActive, unrestricted RN license in North Carolina (or compact state eligibility)
- verifiedBasic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- verifiedGraduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
- verifiedMedical-Surgical Nursing Certification (CMSRN or RN-BC) preferred
Nice to Have
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a BSN. Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification (CMSRN or RN-BC).
