Sorting Robotics Inc. is a manufacturer dedicated to creating innovations for the legal cannabis market in the US and Canada. We build robotic solutions designed to transform manufacturing processes for our clients.
We are seeking a Mid-level Robotics Engineer to join our team in a "get your hands dirty" technical leadership position. This role exists to design, develop, and deploy robotic solutions that drive efficiency in manufacturing. You will own designs from cradle to grave, ensuring their technical success through initial concept, GD&T drawings, and rapid prototyping.
As a member of our team, you will work directly with the founder, offering a unique opportunity to learn rapidly in a dynamic environment. While the role involves long hours and the challenge of troubleshooting systems where "nothing works" on certain days, you will ultimately contribute to a multi-million dollar product in a supportive culture that values your contributions. You will also travel approximately 1-5% of your time to assemble and install machines for customers across the nation.
We are looking for someone who loves solving tough problems with practical, pragmatic designs and is naturally curious about improving machine capabilities. A key aspect of our culture is comfort with the cannabis industry; we prefer candidates who enjoy and have experienced cannabis, as we manufacture specifically for this market.
To apply, please review our website at sortingrobotics.com. We are looking for individuals who are free to work without visa sponsorship and are not currently enrolled in a college or graduate program. Proof of Covid-19 vaccination is required for all hires.
Sorting Robotics Inc. is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.
