About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Automation & Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Wixom, MI. This is a high-impact role involving technical leadership and project ownership. You will lead the design, development, and commissioning of automated machinery, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of mechanical and electrical systems.
Your day-to-day will involve driving technical initiatives from concept to completion, ensuring successful project execution through close partnership with mechanical, electrical, controls, assembly, purchasing, service, and pre-engineering teams. The role requires strong awareness of project timing, cost, and quality requirements, along with occasional domestic and international travel to lead system commissioning activities on-site and provide technical customer support.
