Hatch is seeking a Mechanical & Piping Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA, to join an engineering team providing services to large and small projects. This role is broadly responsible for establishing system requirements, performing functional analyses, defining design criteria, and preparing engineering calculations, technical specifications, data sheets, and reports. You will also develop or provide input into 3D models and 2D drawings.
In this position, you will report to the Lead Mechanical Engineer on large projects and to the Project Manager or Engineering Manager on smaller projects. You may supervise junior engineers, intermediate engineers, designers, technicians, and technologists, while also mentoring young engineers as part of their career development programs. Ultimately, this position reports to the Regional Manager, Mechanical & Piping.
