About the Role
We are seeking a Mechanical Inspector to serve as a key contact and subject matter resource for our assigned divisions of work. In this role, you will act as the eyes and ears of MBP in the field, collaborating closely with contractors, designers, and owners to identify issues early and recommend solutions. Your primary mission is to ensure that installed work complies with contract documents, building codes, and industry standards, thereby reducing rework and production delays.
You will exercise professional judgment to verify work quality and communicate findings to project stakeholders. This position requires a proactive approach to coordinating work activities and supporting project objectives while representing MBP's commitment to excellence. The role involves a dynamic day-to-day rhythm of field inspections, reviewing RFIs and submittals, performing mock-up reviews, and maintaining detailed project logs and as-built documents.

The position is contingent upon award and requires a fingerprint-based criminal history background check, DMV driving record check, and verification of references and work history prior to employment. A valid driver's license with a good driving record is essential.
