About the Role
This Mechanical Designer position is based in our McKinney, TX office to foster collaboration, mentorship, and professional growth, with open opportunities for hybrid work. You will start your career in a collaborative environment focused on production efficiency, constructability, and real-world application. While the title is Mechanical Designer, you will support senior engineers in the design of electrical systems for multifamily, hospitality, retail, and commercial projects, gaining hands-on experience while learning our production-focused approach to design.

We offer a defined professional path within the engineering discipline to help you advance your career:
- Engineering Designer (0–4 years): Support design and documentation under supervision while developing proficiency in Revit, coordination, and mechanical and plumbing calculations.
- Project Engineer (4–10 years): Lead project execution, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior staff. Professional licensure is typically achieved before or early in this stage.
- Engineer of Record (10+ years): Take ownership of design quality, compliance, and technical leadership for assigned projects. Advancement to this level is based on demonstrated capability, judgment, and readiness to assume greater responsibility.
