About the Role
As an Electrical Designer, you will launch your career in a collaborative environment focused on production efficiency, constructability, and real-world application. Based in our McKinney, TX office (with hybrid opportunities available), you will support senior engineers in designing electrical systems for multifamily, hospitality, retail, and commercial projects. This role offers hands-on experience while you learn our production-focused approach to design.
Career Progression
We offer a defined professional path within the engineering discipline:
- Engineering Designer (0–4 years): Support design and documentation under supervision while developing proficiency in Revit, coordination, and electrical calculations.
- Project Engineer (4–10 years): Lead project execution, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior staff. Professional licensure is typically achieved before or early in this stage.
- Engineer of Record (10+ years): Take ownership of design quality, compliance, and technical leadership for assigned projects. Advancement is based on demonstrated capability, judgment, and readiness to assume greater responsibility.
