About the Team

Banks Power is more than just an engine company; we are "engine people." In a world where many companies manufacture disparate parts, Banks engineers the entire engine, focusing on high-performance gas and diesel development, turbocharging, and drivetrains. With over 65 years of breakthroughs and patents, our expertise is proven by a list of national championships, world records, and the distinction of securing the biggest military engine contract of the century—the Banks D866T engine, chosen by the U.S. military for its unparalleled performance and durability.

To lead in the aftermarket performance industry, we rely on a tight-knit group of talented, like-minded individuals. We are an award-winning team that genuinely cares about its members, fostering a family-oriented culture that promotes work-life balance. We maintain an open-door policy and are committed to promoting from within.

About the Role

We are seeking an aspiring Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Mechanical Engineering Group. In this role, you will design and develop high-performance automotive products and systems, managing projects from concept to production. You will have the opportunity to work with CAD, CFD, and FEA tools to create 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks.

Every day, you will be intellectually challenged while conquering challenges in a cohesive and exciting environment. You will coordinate prototype fabrication and installation, collaborate with internal teams such as Purchasing, Quality, and Manufacturing, and work closely with outside vendors. This position offers a ton of opportunities to learn and grow as you analyze test data, write technical engineering reports, and contribute to the development of methods and procedures for testing products and systems.

Note: We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.

Hiring Process

Interested candidates are invited to apply through our careers portal. We look forward to welcoming you to our team.
