This position is dedicated to the safe maintenance of park rides, machinery, and equipment. As a key member of the operations team, you will ensure that attractions remain operational and secure for guests year-round. The role requires a blend of practical trade skills and a steadfast commitment to safety, allowing you to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical systems while working in a dynamic, outdoor environment.
Your day will involve performing visual inspections of assigned rides and attractions to identify potential issues before they arise. You will engage in rehab work, routine preventative maintenance, and the repair of various mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Using hand and power tools, you will replace worn or defective parts and troubleshoot malfunctions calmly and safely, even in the presence of guests. Keeping accurate daily duty logs and maintenance records is an essential part of your workflow.
This role demands significant physical capacity. You must be prepared to climb and work at heights exceeding 150 feet, crawl in confined spaces, and lift up to 100 lbs. The work is performed outdoors in extreme temperatures and requires the dexterity to operate hand tools and motor vehicles. A valid driver's license is required to perform these duties effectively.
