As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a vital role where gears meet grit and power meets precision. Working under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Manager, you will be the first line of defense in keeping our buses running smoothly and ensuring passenger safety. This is a full-time position with 2nd or 3rd shifts available based on operational needs.
Your day will involve utilizing diagnostic tools to identify and repair mechanical, electrical, and other breakdowns. You will conduct routine and preventative maintenance according to manufacturers' specifications to ensure vehicle reliability and longevity. Beyond repairs, you will uphold our commitment to excellence by performing test drives to verify that all vehicles run correctly and safely. You will also maintain detailed inspection reports and electronic maintenance logs, ensuring every repair meets or exceeds industry standards.
We are looking for individuals who are adept at troubleshooting and enjoy the challenge of finding solutions to complex mechanical issues. Whether working indoors or outdoors in all weather conditions, you will be part of a team that values problem-solving and precision. Experience in the motor coach industry or diesel experience is preferred, and a personal toolkit is necessary to carry out maintenance duties independently.
