AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We are the people who keep the cloud running, supporting all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We tackle the most challenging problems, managing thousands of variables impacting the global supply chain.
You will join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. We collaborate across AWS to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. Our inclusive culture welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
As a Technical Product Manager, you will work closely with key partners to innovate, create, manage, and deliver world-class products deployed in our data centers. You will passionately define customer requirements, develop compelling product strategies to drive business value, and partner with cross-functional teams and external vendors to make those strategies a reality at AWS scale.
Your day will involve reviewing and approving equipment submittals, building trust with stakeholders across reliability, operations, design, and compliance, and working with global liquid cooling equipment suppliers to design new products. You will develop product roadmaps, listen to the voice of the customer to understand technical and business requirements, and contribute to a global body of knowledge to drive continuous improvement. This role requires the ability to explain complex systems in clear, concise language and the willingness to travel domestically and internationally for up to 30% to 40% of the year.
