About the Team

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We are the people who keep the cloud running, supporting all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We tackle the most challenging problems, managing thousands of variables impacting the supply chain to deliver seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world's most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform. We pioneered cloud computing and never stopped innovating, which is why customers from the most successful startups to Global 500 companies trust our robust suite of products and services to power their businesses.

About the Role

You will join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. In this position, you will collaborate with business development, design engineers, data center operations professionals, external vendors, and cross-functional teams to assess and select colocation facilities that meet our business requirements.

This role provides the opportunity to showcase your in-depth understanding of data center design, engineering, and operations of infrastructure common to data centers, telecommunications facilities, and other critical environment infrastructure. You will work directly with internal business teams and colocation vendors to identify, document, and resolve any operational or design deficiencies that could impact a site's capability or availability.

You will have opportunities to influence standards for data center products, build and improve processes, and guide the direction of our colocation data center portfolio on a global scale. If you are a strong leader with a passion for data center design and looking for a challenge to chart your own course, you will help us make history in a fast-paced, fun, and exciting work environment.

Culture and Values

AWS values diverse experiences and encourages candidates to apply even if they do not meet all preferred qualifications. We value work-life harmony, striving for flexibility so that achieving success at work never comes at the expense of sacrifices at home.

Here at AWS, it's in our nature to learn and be curious. Our employee-led affinity groups foster a culture of inclusion that empowers us to be proud of our differences. Ongoing events and learning experiences, including our Conversations on Race and Ethnicity (CORE) and AmazeCon conferences, inspire us to never stop embracing our uniqueness. We are continuously raising our performance bar as we strive to become Earth's Best Employer, offering endless knowledge-sharing, mentorship, and career-advancing resources.
