In this role, you will prepare and display meat items according to company standards, ensuring they are always fresh, safe, and properly rotated. Your day will involve working with various tools and equipment, such as automatic wrappers, slicers, grinders, and power saws, to sort, prepare, and unload merchandise. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including sales areas, backrooms, coolers, and equipment, in strict adherence to company and Health Department policies.
Beyond the technical aspects of the job, you will be the face of our department. You will greet customers promptly and cheerfully, assist them in finding products, and provide excellent service. Success in this role requires the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and fellow associates, handle stressful situations with tact and calmness, and work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
This position requires flexibility, with availability to work weekends and holidays as needed. You will operate in a dynamic setting where safety and sanitation are paramount.
