MEAT/DEPT LEADER

About the Role

As a Meat Department Manager, you will serve as the operational leader for our meat department, responsible for planning, organizing, and directing associates to deliver exceptional customer service and drive store profitability. You will be the face of the department, developing strong customer relations through friendliness and courtesy while effectively handling complaints and maintaining store security. Your day-to-day involves managing the full spectrum of department operations, from accurate temperature logging and product rotation to pricing, merchandising, and space allocation. You will also play a key role in shaping the team by training associates, conducting performance reviews, and making critical recommendations regarding hiring, firing, and promotions.
