About the Role
The Corrections Oversight Worker supervises inmates to ensure that meal and food items are prepared in accordance with production plans. In this role, you will train workers in methods of performing duties, as well as assign and coordinate work to promote the efficiency of operations. This person is also responsible for the sanitation of the facility and maintaining personal safety, by conforming to all standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleReview and approve production and temperature logs to ensure compliance
- check_circleParticipate in meal preparation, portion control, and post-production activities
- check_circleConduct inventory, receive food items, and manage storage areas
Requirements
- verifiedMust be over 18 years of age
- verifiedMinimum of one (1) year of food prep or related work preferred
- verifiedAbility to obtain a food safety certification
- verifiedMust qualify for and maintain correctional facility security clearance
Nice to Have
Minimum of one (1) year of food prep or related work. Previous supervisory experience. Previous experience interacting with inmates.
