About the Role

In this position, you will create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service while establishing and maintaining a safe, clean environment that encourages customers to return. You will be responsible for monitoring all functions, duties, and activities related to the Meat department, ensuring we achieve sales and profit goals while controlling all established quality assurance standards.

You will demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Your day will involve promoting trust and respect among associates, developing adequate schedules to manage customer volume, and training associates on job performance. You will create an environment where customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated by answering questions, making suggestions, and locating products. Additionally, you will review and inspect products for quality and freshness, develop department business plans, and assist management with budgeting and expense control.
