Our Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) team operates within the Department of Women's Health in Phoenix, offering comprehensive high-risk obstetric care across four office locations and three hospitals in the Phoenix metropolitan area. We are proud to support an ACGME-accredited MFM fellowship, training the next generation of specialists, and maintain an AIUM-accredited ultrasound program with expert perinatal imaging.

About the Role

We are seeking a patient-centric, collaborative Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician to join our growing team. This role is designed for a specialist who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment, working alongside genetic counselors, sonographers, RNs, diabetes educators, and dedicated support staff.

In this position, you will provide consultative services, advanced prenatal diagnostics, and inpatient care, collaborating closely with OB hospitalist programs at all covered facilities. The role offers a unique blend of clinical excellence and academic engagement. You will have the opportunity to develop service lines of particular interest, mentor staff, and contribute to the education of fellows, residents, and students. Research and academic activities are strongly encouraged, with all faculty having the opportunity for an academic appointment with Creighton University School of Medicine.

Call and shift responsibilities are distributed equally among the team, typically amounting to one week per month, ensuring a balanced workload while maintaining high standards of care.

Where You'll Work

Our team provides MFM coverage at three key facilities:

• St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center: An academic flagship hospital and Level IV maternal care facility serving as a referral center for high-risk pregnancies across Arizona. It houses a Level IV NICU staffed by neonatologists from Phoenix Children's Hospital and handles more than 5,000 deliveries annually.
• Mercy Gilbert Medical Center: Home to the Dignity Health East Valley Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program, this facility features a Level III NICU and is expanding its maternity services with a new Women's & Children's Pavilion. It sees over 4,500 deliveries annually.
• Chandler Regional Medical Center: A full-service, 429-bed acute-care hospital with Level I trauma services, providing obstetric care to a growing perinatal population with over 3,000 deliveries annually.
