About the Role

We are seeking a Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to join our collaborative team at Valleywise Health Medical Center (VHMC). This position offers a unique, consultation-focused practice model that delivers high-level specialized care without delivery responsibilities. Physicians will focus on high-risk obstetric consultation, advanced ultrasound, prenatal diagnostics, and multidisciplinary care.

VHMC serves as the safety-net hospital for Maricopa County. In this role, you will care for patients in both clinic and hospital settings, participating in shared home call coverage for VHMC and the Arizona Perinatal Program. The clinical program supports the full scope of consultative MFM, including genetic counseling and diabetes education.

Academic & Research Opportunities

This role provides meaningful opportunities to teach, mentor, and shape the next generation of physicians. DMG MFM physicians serve as core faculty for the Creighton University integrated OB/GYN Residency and MFM Fellowship, hosting 32 residents and one fellow annually. The practice is further strengthened by academic affiliations with Creighton University, the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Mayo Clinic, and Arizona State University.

Physicians are encouraged to engage in clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and scholarly work, with specific opportunities in healthcare disparities, refugee women's health, and federally funded research programs.
