Albany Medical College is the centerpiece of medicine, research, and medical education in New York's Capital Region. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology comprises five clinical divisions, including General Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Family Planning, and Urogynecology. The department supports 24 residents and 3 MFM fellows annually.
The Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine operates within a collaborative academic environment, performing advanced procedures such as fetal echocardiography, amniocentesis, and chorionic villus sampling. The team serves a diverse patient population with complex maternal-fetal needs, providing high-level care across the Capital District.
We are seeking a full-time faculty member to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine. This role offers a unique opportunity to practice within the Albany Med Faculty Physician Group and its affiliated inpatient facilities, contributing to the only Level IV NICU in the region.
In this position, you will provide comprehensive maternal fetal medicine services, including high-risk ultrasounds, prenatal consultations, and antepartum care. Beyond clinical excellence, you will play a vital role in the academic mission by teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and MFM fellows. You will also participate in scholarly activities, with opportunities to present at regional and national conferences and publish in leading journals.
