Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time faculty member to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, specifically the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM). This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative academic environment, providing high-level care to patients across the Capital District.

Albany Medical Center serves as the centerpiece of medicine, research, and medical education in New York's Capital Region. As the area's largest private employer with over 10,000 employees, the center anchors the state's historic capital city with a full range of inpatient and outpatient care. The facility is home to the region's largest hospital, the only Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma centers, and the only children's hospital. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology supports a robust academic mission with five clinical divisions: General Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Family Planning, and Urogynecology. The department currently supports 24 residents and 3 MFM fellows (one per year). The MFM division performs advanced procedures including fetal echocardiography, amniocentesis, and chorionic villus sampling.

About the Role

This position offers the unique opportunity to serve as part of the only Level IV NICU in the region. You will serve a diverse patient population with complex maternal-fetal needs, practicing within the Albany Med Faculty Physician Group and its affiliated inpatient facilities.

The role is designed for those committed to academic and educational excellence. You will teach and mentor medical students, residents, and MFM fellows while participating in scholarly activities, with opportunities for regional and national presentations and publications.
