Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time faculty member to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, specifically the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM). This division is part of a respected academic medical center with a strong commitment to education and research. The department supports 24 residents and 3 MFM fellows, performing advanced procedures such as fetal echocardiography, amniocentesis, and chorionic villus sampling.
Albany Medical Center serves as the centerpiece of medicine, research, and medical education in New York's Capital Region. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative and academic environment, providing high-level care to patients across the Capital District. You will serve a diverse patient population with complex maternal-fetal needs within the only Level IV NICU in the region. The role involves practicing within the Albany Med Faculty Physician Group and its affiliated inpatient facilities, offering prenatal consultations, high-risk ultrasounds, and antepartum care.
Beyond clinical duties, you will teach and mentor medical students, residents, and MFM fellows. There are ample opportunities to participate in scholarly activities, including regional and national presentations and publications.
