The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology comprises five clinical divisions, including General Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Family Planning, and Urogynecology. The department supports a robust training program with 24 residents and 3 MFM fellows.
The Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine operates within a collaborative academic environment, performing advanced procedures such as fetal echocardiography, amniocentesis, and chorionic villus sampling. The team serves a diverse patient population with complex maternal-fetal needs, providing high-level care across the Capital District.
About the Role
This position offers an exciting opportunity to join the only Level IV NICU in the region. As a full-time faculty member, you will provide comprehensive maternal fetal medicine services, including high-risk ultrasounds, prenatal consultations, and antepartum care. You will practice within the Albany Med Faculty Physician Group and its affiliated inpatient facilities.
Beyond clinical duties, this role is deeply rooted in academic excellence. You will teach and mentor medical students, residents, and MFM fellows while participating in scholarly activities with opportunities for regional and national presentations and publications. The position is designed for a physician committed to collaborative, team-based care and independent decision-making.
