Albany Medical College is the centerpiece of medicine, research, and medical education in New York's Capital Region. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is a vibrant academic unit comprising five clinical divisions: General Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Family Planning, and Urogynecology. We are proud to house the region's only Level IV NICU, a Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center, and the only children's hospital in the area. Our MFM division performs advanced procedures including fetal echocardiography, amniocentesis, and chorionic villus sampling, while supporting a robust educational mission with 24 residents and 3 MFM fellows.
About the Role
We are seeking a full-time faculty member to join our Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) division. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide high-level care to a diverse patient population with complex maternal-fetal needs within a collaborative academic environment. You will practice within the Albany Med Faculty Physician Group and its affiliated inpatient facilities, delivering essential services such as high-risk ultrasounds, prenatal consultations, and antepartum care.
Beyond clinical excellence, this position is integral to our educational mission. You will teach and mentor medical students, residents, and MFM fellows, fostering the next generation of physicians. The role also encourages scholarly activities, with ample opportunities to present at regional and national conferences and publish in leading journals.
