The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology comprises five clinical divisions, including General Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Family Planning, and Urogynecology. The department supports a robust training program with 24 residents and 3 MFM fellows.

The Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine operates within a collaborative academic environment, performing advanced procedures such as fetal echocardiography, amniocentesis, and chorionic villus sampling. The team serves a diverse patient population with complex maternal-fetal needs, providing high-level care across the Capital District.

About the Role

We are seeking a full-time faculty member to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine. This role offers the unique opportunity to practice within the only Level IV NICU in the region. You will provide maternal fetal medicine services, including high-risk ultrasounds, prenatal consultations, and antepartum care, while practicing within the Albany Med Faculty Physician Group and its affiliated inpatient facilities.

Beyond clinical excellence, this position is deeply rooted in academic mission. You will teach and mentor medical students, residents, and MFM fellows, while participating in scholarly activities with opportunities for regional and national presentations and publications. The role demands a commitment to collaborative team-based care, independent decision-making, and academic and educational excellence.
