About the Role
The Compounding Material Handler is a vital link in our manufacturing process, assisting the Preweigh, Compounding, and Production areas with the handling of raw materials required for filling bulk products. This role ensures that operations run smoothly in strict accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI).
In this position, you will operate processing and powered industrial equipment while adhering to all safety requirements and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations. Your day will involve cleaning and sanitizing tools, hoses, stainless steel totes, and pumps, with meticulous record-keeping of these actions. You will transfer completed batches from compounding mix tanks to totes and finished product tanks to meet manufacturing schedules, perform necessary product rework, and stage batching kits between compounding areas.
Safety and quality are paramount. You will handle and label both hazardous and non-hazardous waste according to SOPs, gather quality samples for lab testing, and maintain a clean and orderly work area at all times. This role requires you to follow, promote, and enforce KDC's safety and environmental policies, complete all necessary paperwork, and maintain strict confidentiality regarding customer and product information. Regular and predictable attendance is essential, as is the flexibility to work overtime when workplace demands require it.
