About the Role
This Material Handler position supports warehouse operations by managing the receipt, verification, and physical movement of inventory. You will split your time between processing orders and utilizing computer systems to ensure accurate documentation and timely material flow. Working under direct supervision, you will coordinate with internal work centers and external partners to maintain inventory accuracy and support shipping processes.
You will join a professional operation that values accuracy, safety, and collaboration. The environment emphasizes ethical conduct, customer focus, and continuous improvement, offering opportunities to build strong technical skills in material handling and logistics systems. The role involves a combination of physical activity and computer-based work, including periods at a terminal interspersed with meetings and communications.
Work Environment & Schedule
This is a fully onsite, contract position based in San Diego, CA. The standard schedule is the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with occasional overtime as needed. The warehouse environment features moderate temperature and noise levels.
