About the Role
Adecco is recruiting for a Material Handler position on behalf of a manufacturing and warehouse client. This role is critical to the client's operations, ensuring the accurate and timely supply of materials to production lines. You will work within a fast-paced team environment to organize materials and move them throughout the facility, utilizing production paperwork to locate, deliver, and place items in the warehouse and at specific production lines to maintain inventory accuracy.
The position involves operating powered forklift trucks, hoists, handcarts, and other material handling equipment. Success in this role requires attention to detail, strict adherence to safety requirements, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other Material Handlers and production personnel. You will also be responsible for maintaining equipment in good operating order, performing housekeeping and 5S initiatives, and mentoring entry-level staff.
