The Material Asset Manager serves as the primary authority for asset accountability, inventory management, and government property administration within FAA programs. This role is critical for maintaining accurate custodial records for accountable and non-accountable personal property, facilities, equipment, and government-furnished property within the FAA Real Estate and Asset Management System (FRAMES).
You will coordinate the entire asset lifecycle, from acquisition and tracking to transfer, storage, and disposal, ensuring strict compliance with government regulations and organizational policies. A key part of your day involves organizing and optimizing centralized storage areas to ensure efficient space utilization and inventory accuracy. You will serve as the primary point of contact for storage organization, equipment disposition, and material management practices, directly impacting operational efficiency and customer satisfaction across FAA programs.
