Our Child Development department is dedicated to creating safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environments for children ages 2 to 4. We are committed to fostering strong family partnerships and ensuring every child feels a sense of trust, emotional security, and belonging. Our mission is to support the unique growth of each child through individualized care, multicultural values, and a homelike atmosphere that encourages exploration and independence.
As a Master Teacher, you will be the cornerstone of your classroom, responsible for orchestrating a space that is both clean and rich with learning opportunities. This role goes beyond daily routines; it is about actively engaging with children to promote their self-awareness, motor skills, and social development. You will implement individualized lesson plans that blend indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring every child's unique needs are met with age-appropriate interactions.
Your day will involve fostering a collaborative environment where parents are welcomed as partners in their child's journey. You will model family-style dining, manage sensory and motor experiences, and maintain a clutter-free, stimulating setting. As a leader within the team, you will also supervise classroom volunteers and substitutes, guiding them to uphold our high standards of care and safety. This position requires a flexible spirit, as you will navigate a dynamic environment that may range from quiet learning moments to fast-paced, chaotic interactions typical of early childhood education.
Candidates selected for an interview will be contacted directly by the hiring team. The process includes a review of qualifications, including proof of fluency in English and Spanish, and verification of your status on the Professional Development Ladder. Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check, TB screening, and physical exam prior to starting.
We are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are dedicated to providing a supportive environment for our staff and families.
