Marketing & Communications Intern

About the Role

The Marketing & Communications Intern serves as a vital support member of the Marketing & Communications team within a mission-driven healthcare ministry. This position offers meaningful, hands-on experience in content development, internal communications, event coordination, and departmental reporting. The intern will work collaboratively across the ministry to advance the organization's mission through strategic communication and community engagement.

Day in the Life

You will be at the heart of the ministry's storytelling, drafting social media content, updating intranet pages, and assisting with video recording and editing. Your work will help manage the editorial calendar and coordinate event logistics, ensuring seamless execution of ministry initiatives. Additionally, you will assist with minor graphic design projects in Canva, manage inventory for marketing materials, and help compile departmental reports. This role requires a blend of creative output and organizational precision, often involving interaction with colleagues across the organization and occasional travel between sites.

Hiring Process

Candidates must be currently enrolled in the third year or beyond of a bachelor's program in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Content Creation, Journalism, or a related field, or have completed an associate's degree in a related field within the last 12 months. Applicants should demonstrate a strong interest in healthcare and mission-driven communications.
